Folk Singers I once knew – 3

Colin Scot

I first met Colin Scot when he was featured guest at the White Bear Folk Club in Kingsley Road in Hounslow, and he performed the full twenty minute "Ooh, Aah, Cha Cha Cha"to great acclaim.

We became firm friends and I spent many happy years ferrying him around London folk clubs. Alas, he eventually moved to Amsterdam and I lost touch with him, and I was saddened to hear that he had died recently.

Here are the only photographs I took of him, on a return visit from Holland in 1979. He came and sang at my folk club at the Polytechnic of North London the following year, and, sad to say, I never saw him again.
